Skincare tips for the winter

Hey everyone! So here in Holland, it's not winter yet. But it's so cold outside. Like, 6 degrees celsius, wich is 43 Fahrenheit. Well, let's say it's cold haha. Anyway, in the winter you skin suffers a lot from the cold and stuff. As for me, i tend to get really dry. My skin basically lost it's glow. And i have dry skin, so i'm always looking for a glow on the face. So i know a lot people experience this. Here are some tips how to maintain your skin in the winter :
  • So i shower a lot, and in the winter i shower like twice a day. I mean you may think it's weird. But the shower is so warm. If you shower once a day that's enough though. But you have to shower every day. You need to cleanse your skin and stuff. So when your almost at the end of showering close the warm water and leave the cold water on. You are doing this because you don't want to dry out your skin. Because hot water, really dries your skin out.
  • Moisturize, moisturize and MOISTURIZE ! Moisturizing you skin is really the key to having beautiful skin. And for the winter it's a must! Use a really full moisturizer for dry skin. And for oily skin, use a moisturizer that mattens out your skin like the Dermologica Welcome matt with SPF 15.
  • Sleep! Get at least 8 hours sleep a day. It's great for your skin and who doesn't love sleep, right?
  • Water! Drink a lot water. And when i say water, i don't mean 1 or 2 bottles a day, cause that's just not enough. Drink 5 to 6 bottles a day, that;s about 2,5 to 3 liters a day. And you may i think, it's not gonna stay in body and not going to help. Well, you're wrong it's good for you body, your skin is gonna get smoother and you hair to. So lot's and lot's of water.

That were my skincare tips. I hope i was helpfull and i'll blog ya tomorrow. Bye ....
